Find a rescue group. Serioulsly, dont post it in the paper of anything like that.
Either
A. make flyers, and hang them in vet offices, chances are the person will be a responsible pet owner, if they are there in the first place, or maybe they had to put their animal down, and are looking for a new friend.
B. Find a rescue group, that puts them in foster homes until they find their forever home.
Advertising her on yahoo answers, is not a good idea.

I would find a no-euthanasia shelter that can take her. Try Petfinder.org for a good rescue group in your area. They are very adept at finding forever homes and they can help.
