I wasn't single last year at college (but have been for 6 months now) and this guy would playfully tease me about being in a certain place all the time. College has started back and the first coupla days he kept making eye contact and giving me a funny look/smile. I started commenting him on myspace and he was replying back immediately, and sent me a picture/gift thing on my page and said he took ages to pick it etc. but he has now stopped but still comes online?

At college he never makes eye contact now and is more quieter than usual (he was usually always joking around) but still playfully teases a bit and i caught him looking over from the far side of the room at me then he looked away quickly and he was looking over at break the other day....

Does it sound like he likes me? He's not shy so i don't get why he's kinda 'avoiding' looking at me when i pass etc

What can i do? I'm not gona comment him again incase i seem desperate....

well to me it seems like this boy likes u. to me i think that he was acting to obvious and one of his friends was making fun of him. i know how it feels but trust me i am starting to think that this guy likes u. if u dont notice or pretend he should be goin back to normal sooner or later.

Maybe he is just to shy to make the first real move. Are there any school functions happening soon? If so, ask him if he wants to attend with you! You will get your answer, and even if it's not what you want to hear, you at least won't have to wonder any more!

It sounds like he was tryna give you hints earlier but they didnt work so now he's sorta stepped back cos he thinks you dont like him. I dont know, throw a party or something or go to a party he'll be at and flirt. If he flirts back or you get "that vibe" leave it and ask him out the next day when your sober.

Let him think you like him, then withdraw a bit. Pay him some extra attention, then back off. He said this drives men crazy!

I guess, deep down, they do like the chase. And, think about it... aren't you obsessing more about this guy since you DON'T know his feelings for you than if he was right out there about them? Maybe there's a good evolutionary reason for our sudden shyness when we feel attraction. :)

You're right to not want to look desperate. As hard as it is, hang back. Don't email him, don't comment on his myspace. Make him WANT you. Think of this as a game and try to enjoy it. :)

Try ignoring him and go on with your classes to better yourself. It will tell you whether he is interested or not~~if he is he will come to you and start a conversation. If not, he won't. Tell the 'messenger' that you don't play those message games, and he needs to stay out of your business. It sounds more like high school that college activity. Just focus on your studies and let this dorky guy go....he doesn't sound like he knows what he wants....and YOU don't need a guy like that in your life in college! Knowledge is POWER!

It sounds like he did at least at one time have an interest in you from what you explained. However, with the time that has lapsed he may have met someone and so with that may have stopped his flirtatious behaviour. He also may be waiting for a sign from you to see if you are interested in him or not. Rejection can be a hard thing and very crushing to a mans ego. You are both at a mature age were after so long little games of just flirting back and forth get a little old and eventually die down if nothing becomes of it after so long. You mentioned you two were friends on myspace, why don't you just take a leap of faith and ask him out. If you are scared to do it in person, send him a message and just say something like "hey thought it might be fun to get together then say something like to get a cup of coffee or something that you think he may have an interest in doing.(and name a specific day and time) then put your number down and say call me if you would like to. If he says no he says no, just chalk it up to his loss. But hopefully he will be ecstatic that you made this first move that he has been wanting to but for some reason has not made yet.
