Does anyone else think its funny how people ask if they should kill themselves or not... on Yahoo! Answers?!?! Seriously, what the hell? This place is worse than Myspace sometimes. I'm not sure what's more funny though: The people asking if they should kill themselves, or the tons of people that respond thinking that a complete stranger cramming the bible down their throat is going to save that "suicidal" individual's life. Your thoughts?

not funny. these people are making it hard for times when people really mean it and need someone to talk to. just because the new thing is to express a dark side, doesn't mean the people should do it to this degree =(

yeahh, its kind of like the people that ask serious health questions. "HELP i think im having a heart attack? umm... i lost a leg... i seem to be bleeding profusely... what do i do??? please advise."

you kind of just want to say Hey, go to a doctor? stop asking strangers online, and waiting for typed generic responses. but then again, we do answer. soo... maybe they are on to something. lol.

I don't know your age or anything else about you. But when you think that this country Australia has one of the highest suicide rates in the world, there is something wrong. But even when suicide may be the "easy" way out for some, it is always up to others to clean up and grieve.

Those people may not have a friend in which to turn and see this as one way of getting attention. Or else there is the thought that the people on this board arn't the people you have to look at face to face the next day.

People that tell other people that they are or going to kill themselves are weak and just seeking attention. the people that do commit don't tell anyone that they are going to do it but they're still weak people and i (personally) don't have time for that crap!!!
