My name is Ryan, I'm 17 years old and I've never had a girlfriend...I've never even been on a real date. It's not that I don't have confidence...I have no problem talking to girls. I can talk to them and make them laugh and all, but yet they are never interested in me that way.

I'm not really weird, I don't smell bad, I don't wear retarded clothes, I'm not a filthy sex-crazed teenager...I don't talk funny, I'm in shape, I'm a Christian, I have no problem talking to people, I'm in a rock band for God's sake!

I didnt have my first date until after I graduated HS.

I dont se anything wrong with you hun. But HS kids are all a bit weird, and you will realize this in about 5-10 years... if you dont already.

And it is very possible that the girls are waiting for you to ask them out.... Honestly think about asking... the worst that can happen is they say no... the best is they say yes.

I know, it hurts to be rejected, and it hurts to hear the word no from someone you want to date, but that never stopped me.. I asked out at least 6 guys, all who said no.... lol

Maybe you should act like your interested in the girl personally. Considering that you are good looking, funny, and all those good things, girls find you inaccessible / unattainable. It's not you who are lacking confidence, it's the girls themselves who don't think they are good enough for you. Find a girl you like and pursue her, or you will always just be the high school hottie who every girl drools over. Girls won't be aggressive when it comes to dating... you have to take the initiative.
